Everyone knows i have a phobia for Earthquakes... and when today's hit... i froze... semi froze... i got scared but not too scared, but i was mobile enough to get under a door panel and bump off the original person under it. haha I kinda hid my fear for it cuz i was at work and didnt wanna look like a b*tch, especially since there were women here panicing... i didnt wanna be the only male doin that so i man'd up. o well. hopefully we wont have one for another 5 years, but shit.... who knows?

here's more info on the earthquake and how the stupid cell phones didnt work. JAM!

"The earthquake that hit Southern California on Tuesday caused phone networks to jam up as many people tried calling at the same time, but the infrastructure was intact, the area's main phone companies said.

Bill Kula, spokesman for Verizon Communications Inc., said there was an initial peak of blocked calls after the quake, but it appeared to be the result of people getting on their phones to check with family members, friends and colleagues.

AT&T Inc. spokesman Fletcher Cook said there was no known damage to the company's phone lines or cellular towers, but that both networks experienced congestion. In case of an emergency, he recommended repeatedly retrying a landline phone number, or using text messaging on a cell phone.

The 11:42 a.m. quake was initially estimated at 5.8 by the U.S. Geological Survey but was revised downward to 5.4."
